Wood flooring is the common name for a variety of floor types that are made from timber.

This type of floor maybe easy to clean, but it is not really a wood floor.
When you want to install wood flooring in your house you have to remember that it cannot be installer everywhere you like. If you want to have a wood floor in your basement, you cannot install it down there because usually in basements you have high moisture that is going to ruin your wood floor. It is not recommended to install wood flooring in your bathroom because of the same reason mentioned before: too much moisture. For these two locations you have to choose tile or some material that is water resistant not wood floors.
Choose wood floors wisely and make sure that they suit your house and rooms. Wood flooring vary also in quality not only in texture, color or grain pattern. When buying wood flooring you have to take in consideration that wood species have different durability and in consequence different prices. Hardwood flooring may be a little expensive in comparison with engineered wood flooring, but the quality is higher. You have to decide what suits best for your house and on what type of wood floor you want to step.
